Good Morning!
The majority of my work time this week has been making an illustration for my little brother’s wedding invitation.
On the actual invitation I’ve shrunk their little corner illustrations down so that there’s more room for words, but I found that it was easier to work a little bit larger.
I’m happy about how the illustration turned out, but I’m more happy for them. My brother and his fiancee are both wonderful. I enjoy being around them, love them a lot, and am excited to spend the rest of our lives sitting around tables at family dinners talking to both of them.
In other news, I finished my second draft of “Hope’s Guide to the Apocalypse” this week. I’m really excited because I’ve never completed a writing project like this before. (Mourn my creative writing graveyard!) Theres definitely some serious editing to do but I also have more confidence in my revising ability than I did in my drafting ability so I’m hoping to gain some steam now. (Or at least finally be able to start actually drawing haha)
