Every day during my lunch break I sit under a perfect tree in the corner of my work’s parking lot. I keep a little blanket in the trunk of my car and spread out my lunch, a book, and any notebooks I’m using for the work I’m doing in a half circle around me.
People very rarely come near my corner. Sometimes I just close my eyes and breathe the warm air, or lay back and stare into the tree canopy above me trying to catch birds fluttering between branches.
See you next week,
Katrina
